1. Our Origin Story, Mission, Vision, and Values

It was clear to the Co-Founders of POINT that the only way radioligand therapy would reach its full potential as a pillar of cancer treatment, was if a company was created that solved all the complexities of the supply chain, From Neutron To PatientTM.

In early 2017, Dr. Neil Fleshner, a practicing uro-oncologist in Toronto, accompanied his first prostate cancer patient to Germany for an experimental new cancer treatment - radioligand therapy. The treatment was not available anywhere in North America – Dr. Fleshner and his patient had to travel to Germany, at significant expense, for it to be administered. Wanting to improve patient access to these advancements in cancer care, Dr. Fleshner began thinking about how a team could be assembled to build the infrastructure necessary to bring these innovative therapeutics to more people.

This seed of an idea resulted in the formation of POINT Biopharma, and we are now well-equipped to push forward our pipeline of next-generation radioligands, which includes tremendously exciting programs that could be transformative for patients globally.

Our Mission: Accelerating the discovery, development, and global access to radiopharmaceutical therapies
Our Vision: Transforming lives touched by cancer
Our Values:
• We work with purpose focusing on what matters, with collaboration, inclusivity, and mutual respect
• We earn our credibility by being reliable and taking personal accountability for our actions, while operating with humility and integrity
• We achieve excellence through the creation of life-changing innovations by empowering our team and expecting the best

2. Keeping Everyone Safe

We strive to ensure a safe workplace for all our employees as well as to ensure protection of the surrounding public and environment where we operate. We promote a work environment where employees are encouraged to raise safety concerns and where concerns are promptly reviewed, given priority based on safety significance, and appropriately resolved with timely feedback to the originator of the concerns and to other employees as appropriate.

Guided by our core values, we have equipped our team with strong safety principles and forged a collective commitment, by leaders and individuals alike, to emphasize safety over competing goals to ensure the protection of people and the environment. We are dedicated to taking the necessary steps to continue to promote a positive safety culture by fostering the above principles as they apply to each organizational environment within POINT.

3. Radioactive Materials and Manufacturing Practices

The well-being of our employees and surrounding communities is important to us. Since we work with radioactive medical isotopes during our pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, we’ve implemented corporate initiatives to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as measures to recycle target material and reduce hazardous waste.

These measures include constantly monitoring and limiting exposure to ionizing radiation and hazardous substances in the workplace, and imposing workplace safety requirements. POINT maintains good standing with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which issued a materials license for our CORE1 facility in April 2021.

4. Research and Clinical Trial Practices

We are committed to accelerating the discovery, development, and global access to life-changing radioligand therapies. We are focused on conducting clinical studies required by regulatory authorities to fully answer important scientific questions about the potential risks and benefits of our investigational products and to obtain regulatory approval, thereby making our medicines available to patients who are most likely to benefit from them, as quickly as possible.

We prioritize safeguarding the health and privacy of patients who receive our investigational product candidates in our clinical trials. We ensure our clinical trial processes are fully aligned with international guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), that we comply with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in the production of drug product for our trials, and that we have carefully vetted vendors and partners who help us along the way.

5. Accountability and Governance

We have put in place strong corporate governance controls including our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. The Code aids our directors, officers, employees, and certain designated agents in making ethical and legal decisions when conducting the Company's business and performing their day-to-day duties. We equip employees to hold themselves to the highest ethical standards through a comprehensive compliance program that includes ongoing training. Our board of directors follows corporate governance guidelines requiring that our board is majority independent and effective. Directors have full access to our management, and the board regularly conducts self-assessments to gauge whether it is operating effectively.

6. Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion

At POINT, we bring our diverse ideas and perspectives together to transform lives touched by cancer. With teamwork, openness, and inclusivity we’re driving impactful work and seizing every opportunity to innovate together. We have the vision, creativity, and support to continue to thrive. What’s possible is up to us. Together we are on a mission to accelerate the development of life-changing radioligand therapies. The role each one of us plays is essential. Recognizing and celebrating individual contributions is a key element of our inclusive work environment. Additionally, to empower our employees’ future, we offer competitive salaries, bonus rewards, and incentive programs.
